Chris Taylor. Managing Partner, Founder go to top

Chris Taylor is a seasoned marketing professional with a strong background in marketing strategy, brand strategy and product marketing. With over 24 years of experience, Chris has held executive-level marketing positions and has led business-to-business and consumer marketing efforts for organizations including Ashton-Tate, Borland, Novell, and iUniverse. As Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing for USWeb/CKS, Chris was responsible for all global marketing initiatives and led joint marketing efforts with partners such as Microsoft, IBM and Intel.

Chris served on the Board of Directors of the American Marketing Association, one of the largest professional marketing associations with 38,000 members worldwide. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Spartan Foundation, raising funds for San José State student-athlete scholarships. Chris was also active in the Bay Area Sports Organizing Committee and worked on various events in support of San Francisco’s 2012 Olympic Bid campaign. Chris holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from San José State University.

Carl Agers. Managing Partner, Founder go to top

Carl Agers brings more than 17 years of marketing and business development experience to the team. Previously, Carl served as Director of Marketing for USWeb/CKS, managing global product and marketing initiatives. During his tenure at Motorola, Carl was instrumental in launching several groundbreaking wireless communications products and services. Prior, Carl led product management for the Dell Computer’s portable communications group.

Carl’s nonprofit experience and leadership runs deep. He has served as an active board member for Unity Care for the last five years and was voted in as the Board President in 2002. Carl and his wife are also actively involved in community outreach through their church and have served as foster parents. Carl holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, Marketing from the University of Phoenix.

Aaron Sagray. Creative Director go to top

Aaron is an award-winning Creative Director who has developed projects over a broad range of mediums, including print collateral, direct response, web, broadcast, CD-ROM and tradeshow booths. Aaron has designed large scale projects for companies such as Apple, Logitech, Visa, TeleAtlas, Macromedia as well as a mix of education and extreme sports organizations in the Bay Area. Previously, Aaron was a senior designer at Catapult Direct Marketing and USWeb/CKS.

Aaron holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Art from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.

Robert Brough. Art Director go to top

Robert brings a combination of creative direction and campaign management to The Tager Group. He has managed design and production projects for print, web, events and overall corporate identity. Throughout the digital revolution, Robert has worked with many key players, helping to shape and guide their visual communications messages.

Rob received his B.A. in Graphic Art from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California. He has also completed graduate coursework at San Jose State University including computer science and fine art.

Elizabeth Rector. Marketing Manager go to top

During her 12-year experience in high-tech, Elizabeth has managed high-profile international projects for clients that include Egg, the largest online bank in Europe and Televisa, the largest media company in Latin America. After being one of the initial employees of XO Communications and playing an instrumental role in the company’s success, she moved on to Oracle, where she helped launch Alliance Online, an award-winning channel marketing tool.

Her non-profit experience includes volunteering as an English tutor for recently-arrived U.S. Immigrants and participating in fundraising events for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). She is currently on the board of Habitat for Humanity in Santa Cruz and works closely on orientation issues for Spanish-speaking families. During the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, she managed a staff of 28 volunteers from five different nations.
Elizabeth completed her MBA at IESE in Barcelona, Spain, one of the top European business schools. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business with a minor in Spanish, graduating with honors from Washington State University.
