The Challenge

ThinkFree is a software company who’s office product seemingly competes head to head with Microsoft. A daunting challenge for any company, especially a small one.

The Solution

But looks can be deceiving. Tager Group came in and developed a marketing plan for ThinkFree that established niches for them to exploit without having to go head to head with Microsoft Office. We developed new positioning and messaging. We proposed new sales opportunities. We created a new corporate identity to convey a much more professional image. And we redesigned their retail packaging to be much more eye-catching on the shelf.

Results

The most exciting accomplishment was Wal-Mart’s review of the new packaging and subsequent decision to stock ThinkFree in their stores. A huge win!
